Artist Statement
A fascination with domestic objects that have been passed down throughout my family history informs my subject matter, the visual representation of memory and my personal genealogy. These objects hold within them memories and a sense of nostalgia. My intention is to present an ambiguous or unfamiliar image through both drawing and painting, reflective of the limitations of memory.
